We have been learning about colors and what happens when you mix colors. On Thursday we read the book Mouse Paint. In the book a white mouse explores different cups of paint and realizes that when he goes from one cup to another and mixes the colors that new colors form. To demonstrate this we gave each child a zip lock bag filled with shaving cream. Then we ask them to decide if they wanted to make orange, green or purple. We then gave them food coloring droplets in the colors needed to make the new color and we sealed them and squished them until the new colors formed. This was a
great activity except for when Isaac's
bag busted and he ended up GREEN! YUCK!Tyler is creating PURPLE!
